In this loosely joined collective practice, the contributors and I reimagine and visualise what it means to leave home (or origin) against inertia. The second series particularly focuses on the oscillating human emotions between belongingness and autonomy, comfort and challenge and the known and unknown. Informed by The New Art of Making Books (Carrión, 1975) and Paratexts (Genette, 1997), I experiment with the perimeters of pages to explore the spatial possibility of spreads as well as the book itself as an object.

Alongside the series of publications as design outcomes, a printed dissertation of mine, Publishing as Existential Act, was exhibited on site, encompassing various aspects of anthropology, philosophy and art theory to communicate the ideations and design decisions behind this act of publishing. To conclude, it further investigates what it means to empirically capture such unutterable emotions and evidence of fragile existences on paper, which is a slow and humane medium, against the current velocity of the digital era.
